It was late. She found herself on the computer, on the dating site. Hoping this time "he" would be there. He would be romantic, and honest. He would want someone the same. He would be loyal. He would want to talk.

It was a hard time really. Everyone was lonely , but no one wanted to put in the effort. All she wanted really was someone she could love who would let her love them back..someone who understood those early morning insomnia attacks that come from being alone and older.She hoped they would go away if she had someone there to hold her...

Some of the guys said the women they met either did not want intimacy, or that was all they wanted. She wanted that back in her life so so much, but there had to be a relationship. There is nothing as intimate as a connection in the mind and a good imagination.

Someone who would like to sit at the beach and watch the sun go down while holding hands. Someone who would hold her when she cried. Someone she could hold onto who might actually be there.
